Young Adult Fireside w Pres and Sis Nelson

Loading Events

President Russell M. Nelson and Sister Wendy W. Nelson have pondered over what would help young adults navigate both this important time in their life as well as the unique times in which we live. They have prepared special messages to share with the world during a Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults on May 15, 2022, at 6 p.m. in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City.

Young adults from 18-30, both married and single, and high school seniors from Nephi to Logan are invited to attend this event in person. This will be a major gathering and we invite our young adults to come to Temple Square with their friends-both members and non-members alike.

Tickets will not be required, and seating will be on a first come, first served basis. Seating will start at 4:30 p.m. in the Conference Center and overflow seating in various nearby locations will also be available.

The Church Museum, Family History Library, Church History Library, Relief Society Building, and the Social Hall Avenue Meetinghouse will be open from 3 to 9 p.m. with special activities for those who visit. Sabbath-day appropriate live music will be available in the Tabernacle and other venues.

The Conference Center visitor exhibits and new art of the Savior will be viewable after the broadcast.

After many years of being closed, the roof of the Conference Center will be open after the broadcast. President Hinckley requested that the roof of the conference center be designed to make viewing the sunset a prime experience. It will be a wonderful location to have a refreshment, view the construction on Temple Square, and see the sunset.

#WWDevo will be the hashtag for the event, and we encourage young adults to use it to share their preparations for the broadcast, and as they participate in activities before and after the broadcast.

Please begin organizing groups to attend in person and to gather together. Parking in Salt Lake City is limited, so carpooling and the use of mass transit are encouraged where feasible.

You may also watch the broadcast beginning on Sunday, May 15, at 6 p.m., on the Church satellite system, broadcasts.ChurchofJesusChrist.org (available for two weeks), or YouTube (live and on-demand streaming).
